Analytics

Security

To protect our members we do monitor some activities such as login attempts, comments and uploaded content. The process is automated and the information we collect will only be used for the security of our network. The server logs are retained for up to 90 days and purged regularly.

The IP address of visitors and usernames of login attempts are conditionally logged to help detect malicious activity and to protect the site from attacks.

In event that there are too many login attempts from an IP address our network will temporarily restrict some features for a short time. During this time the IP address will be added to a restricted list. This list is not publically visible however can be viewed by technical support.

We may collect technical details about the device you are using, this information is securely stored on our servers and accessible by our support team to help resolve faults, detect and prevent unauthorized access.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Any information you provide on this website will be stored in your membership profile. This information will be retained until the account is deleted. Members can cancel and request any information held about you is deleted at any time by contacting our customer care team.

Once an account is deleted it will not be possible to undo the action.

How we protect your data

oodlemadoodles.com uses SSL through HTTPS to encrypt the data that is sent between your browser and our servers. All personal data is stored on a database in an encrypted format.

Payment information such as credit card numbers are not stored on our servers and are processed by trusted 3rd parties acting on our behalf. We do not have access to any credit card payment information.
